Cobb County Republican Party Officially Launches New Website
Largest Republican County in Georgia Organizes Grassroots Online

MARIETTA, Ga., November 17, 2009 – The Republican Party of Cobb County Georgia launches their new website today. The finished site is the result of a six-month effort to create an online presence for the Cobb GOP that can be a hub of conservative politics for Cobb County.

“As we head into the 2010 elections, Republicans are looking for new ways to connect and organize online,” says Scott Johnson, Chairman of the Cobb County Republican Party. “With the help of grassroots volunteers, the Cobb GOP is leading the charge in providing members and the Cobb community at-large a unique Internet experience.”

The new cobbgop.org integrates Facebook, Flickr and Twitter online applications into the website. In addition, the new Cobb County Republican Party website encourages online donations and volunteer recruitment.

“The Cobb GOP is blessed to have the support of well-known Cobb Republicans such as United States Senator Johnny Isakson, Congressman Phil Gingrey, Congressman Tom Price, and State GOP Chair Sue Everhart,” says Johnson. “The new cobbgop.org is a gateway for voters to reach out to Republicans while learning new ways they can be more involved.”
